FORMAT

FORMAT:

The Draw:

·          Top 8 ranked players will be drawn into groups A-H

·          Next 8 ranked players will then be drawn and so on.

·          New players will be drawn last.

Group Stages:

·          Each player will have a maximum 6 matches to play during a 3 month period.

·          Each player will have 2 matches to play each month.

·          Each match is best of 10 frames (all frames MUST be played)

·          Table Fees = £2.50 per player

Points scored during the group stages are as follows:

                Win         =              3pts.

                Draw       =              1pt.

                Lose        =              0pts.

Having played all six matches, the players in first and second position of their group will advance to the Champions league knockout stages.

Players in third and fourth position in their group will play in the plate knockout stages.

Knockout Stages:

The draw for the last 16 is as follows for the Champions league.

·          Winners of groups A-D will be drawn against runners up of groups E-H

·          Winners of groups E-H will be drawn against runners up of groups A-D

The draw for the last 16 is as follows for the Plate.

·          3^rd Place in groups A-D will be drawn against 4^th Place in groups E-H

·          3^rd Place in groups E-H will be drawn against 4^th Place in groups A-D

Once the draw for the last 16 is complete, route to the final will then be fixed.

The number of frames to be played in the knockout stages is as follows: 

Table fees during the knockout stages are as follows:

Champions League                  =              £2.50 per player

Plate                                        =              £1.50 per player
